Ribbon-cuttings
There is little more rewarding
than witnessing the opening
of a new clinic or building
that was funded by our incredible donors.
Here are some of our recent
ribbon-cutting celebrations
that were only made possible
thanks to supporters like you.
University Health celebrates the opening of the region’s only Level IV Maternal Care Center
University Health proudly marked a historic moment with the official opening of the region’s only Level IV Maternal Care Center, the highest designation for maternal care. The Center for High-Risk Pregnancy & OB/GYN Specialty Care is now operational, offering comprehensive services to support women at all stages of life, particularly those with high-risk pregnancies and specialized OB/GYN needs.
Dedicated to treating patients with substance use disorder
For more than 30 years, University Health Behavioral Health (UHBH) has been leading the way in the region’s battle with addiction. Thanks to a new facility, The Center for Recovery and Wellness, the building will finally match the quality care patients and clients receive.
New NICU Ribbon Cutting
With a snip of a yellow ribbon, University Health President and CEO Charlie Shields, along with doctors and dignitaries, marked the official opening of the hospital’s new, state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care unit. Babies first arrived in the new space in September 2022, but the ribbon-cutting ceremony in April was an opportunity to share our gratitude with donors who made this important transformation possible.
